Default Mesmers prob?

Does mesmers have some type of problems, because I hardly see them in role playing. I've seen that it can solo UW, so why is it looked down upon?

i dont know why either i have a pvp mesmer that rocks but never had a thing for pve mesmer.

Maybe cos they look hard to play with hench only and i dont think many people will take a mesmer in a pve party and thats just wrong, i rember had similar problems with my Ranger to get into partys.

normally when i decided to make a new character i would look in the forums for ideas and work around it, but never seen one that convinces me for pve mesmer/ele but nothing yet that tells me to make one.

Can Mesmer Play with Hench? Have you guys finnished the game with a Mesmer?

Again i can see mesmer a good prof in a group, but dont feel like spending ages in looking for a group. and i like to mix with other people in pve and leave guild m8s for pvp unless someone is stuck .

Just had a quick look

Ele forums Page 1 of 5

Mesmer Page 1 of 3

Monk Page 1 of 6

Necro Page 1 of 6

Ranger Page 1 of 6

Warrior Page 1 of 10

Maybe this gives a idea or not.

I think mesmers are more commonly seen in PvP because they are best at harassing casters. They are great at making monks and any other casters totaly useless. You can take all their energy, increase their casting time, interrupt them, etc.

In PvE even though there are still casters about people are just not looking for energy denial or migraine mesmers in PvE. Once in a while you will see a degen mesmer, but still even that is rare.

I believe when people are a making a character for PvE they always think about whether or not the character they are about to make will have an easy time getting into a group.
